A Processing experiment on manipulating variable typefaces to the movement of the face.

Tools used in this project include Processing, FaceOSC, and Glyphs.

The experiment started with initial facial research. Since a lot of what goes into creating a typeface is structure, I figured quantitative data was needed. To better understand the movements of facial expressions without the qualitative emotion, I used a similar method to motion capture tech.
The grid structure for the typeface is similar to that of the drawing process of the face; made up of circles, triangles, and axes.

Maybe once my Processing skills are up to par, interpolation of the variable typeface can be integrated into the code.
